July 15, 2019Freshman women's indoor and beach volleyball player Lea Kruse and freshman baseball player Kyle Dobson have been selected as Irvine Valley's female and male athletes of the year, respectively, for the 2018-19 season. -
Baseball player Trent Whitaker headed to Dixie State
July 11, 2019Trent Whitaker, who had a solid sophomore year for the Lasers, has signed with NCAA Division II Dixie State. The second baseman batted .373 with 19 RBI and eight stolen bases. He also had a .509 slugging percentage.

July 09, 2019Irvine Valley sophomore pitcher Justin Dunham is headed to NCAA Division II Dixie State. Dunham was named second team all-Orange Empire Conference and pitched the first no-hitter in IVC program history this year.

Pitcher Paul Colignon headed to Oklahoma Baptist University
July 08, 2019Sophomore right-handed pitcher Paul Colignon has signed with NCAA Division II Oklahoma Baptist University. Colignon made 15 appearances over the last two years and helped the Lasers to a 20-19-1 record this past year.

Pitcher Anthony Castillo signs with Vanguard University
July 03, 2019Freshman right-handed relief pitcher Anthony Castillo is headed to NAIA Vanguard University. The former Yorba Linda High player had a 0.84 ERA in 10.2 innings pitched for Irvine Valley this past season.

Baseball player David Rojas headed to Georgetown
June 28, 2019Two-year starting infielder David Rojas has signed to play at NAIA Georgetown College next season. He will join current teammate Keenan Cisneros along with former IVC standouts Ryan Gaynor and Zack Stack with the Tigers.

June 27, 2019Irvine Valley two-year starting pitcher Keenan Cisneros has signed with NAIA Georgetown College. He will join a current IVC player along with two former Laser standouts with the Tigers. Georgetown won 45 games in 2019.

Baseball player Spencer Weston off to Western Oregon
June 26, 2019Redshirt freshman Spencer Weston has signed to play at NCAA Division II Western Oregon. Weston will join teammate Ryan Santa Cruz. Weston, a former Woodbridge High standout, had a solid end of the season with IVC.

June 25, 2019Irvine Valley starting catcher Ryan Santa Cruz is headed to Western Oregon to continue playing. He helped lead IVC's pitching staff to a 3.08 ERA and also threw out 45 percent of runners trying to steal this past season.

Former baseball player Tyler Wagner earns NAIA Gold Glove
June 23, 2019Former Irvine Valley standout Tyler Wagner was named a ABCA-Rawlings NAIA Gold Glove recipient for his play at third base for Georgetown College. He helped Georgetown to a 45-wins his senior year and a trip to the postseason.

June 20, 2019Sophomore Chad Burchit, who was a key member of the Irvine Valley staff the past two years, is headed to Chico State to continue his academic and athletic career. He pitched 111.0 innings for the Lasers the last two seasons.

Three former Lasers lead Georgetown College to fine season
June 19, 2019Former IVC standouts Ryan Gaynor, Tyler Wagner and Zack Stack helped the Tigers finish with a 45-15 record and reach the NAIA national Tournament Opening Round. Gaynor was also named all-conference at Georgetown.

Former IVC player Cooper Moore earns honors at Concordia
June 03, 2019Cooper Moore, who was an all-conference player for Irvine Valley's baseball team in 2018, was recently named to the NCAA Division II All-Region baseball squad at Concordia by the American Baseball Coaches Association.
