July 11, 2017Irvine Valley point guard Serena Saba will continue her education and playing career at NCAA Division 3 Lewis and Clark College in Oregon in the fall. Saba shined on and off the court for the Lasers this past year.

Women's basketball player Kydell Pearson signs with TAMIU
July 06, 2017Irvine Valley sophomore forward Kydell Pearson has signed with NCAA Division 2 Texas A&M International. Pearson averaged 12.6 point and 8.2 rebounds for IVC last year. She helped the Lasers to the Regional Playoff Finals in 2015-16.

Former IVC basketball star named coach at Northeastern State
May 25, 2017Fala Bullock, who helped lead the Lasers to a 45-10 record and two trips to the Southern California Regional Playoff Finals in the early 2000's, landed the head coaching job at her alma mater at Northeastern State in Oklahoma.

Danan, Quirate, Tuttle set to join women's basketball team
May 16, 2017Cydnie Danan and Jessica Quirate of Ayala and Grayce Tuttle of Irvine will be part of the Irvine Valley women's basketball program in the fall. They each helped their high school teams make the CIF playoffs this past season.

Pearson and Saba picked as second team all-conference players
February 24, 2017Sophomore forward Kydell Pearson and freshman guard Serena Saba were selected second team all-Orange Empire Conference. Pearson averaged 12.6 points and 8.2 rebounds and Saba averaged 9.2 points and 4.0 assists per game.

November 20, 2016Irvine Valley went just 1-2 in the Saddleback Tournament over the weekend, but the Lasers played right with two of the better teams in the state in losses. IVC also picked up a 54-52 win over Moorpark.
