June 08, 2022Irvine Valley's Ashley Arribas will be playing for Missouri Valley College. Arribas will join the Vikings, who went 14-6-1 last season. Missouri Valley featured former IVC players Cassie Fuentes, Emily Rodriguez and Heaven Hernandez.

Women's soccer player Kailey Earl signs with Ottawa University
May 31, 2022Irvine Valley freshman standout defender Kailey Earl has signed with NAIA Ottawa University in Arizona. Earl was one of the top players on the 2021 IVC squad. She started all 21 matches for the Lasers.

IVC announces Tom Lancaster as new women's soccer coach
March 21, 2022Tom Lancaster, the former lead assistant with the Irvine Valley men's soccer team, has been named the new women's soccer coach for the Lasers. Lancaster was an assistant at IVC for five years with the men's program.

Maris and Munoz named all-Orange Empire Conference players
December 15, 2021Irvine Valley freshman soccer players Leah Maris and Priscilla Munoz were each named to all-Orange Empire Conference teams recently. Maris played in the midfield and at goalie and Munoz was a midfielder for the Lasers.

November 12, 2021Irvine Valley ends a tough 2021 campaign, which saw the team practice and play away from home for the year, with a 6-0 Orange Empire Conference defeat to Saddleback at the OC Great Park on Friday afternoon.

October 22, 2021Irvine Valley can't keep up with Cypress, which is the No. 7 team in the state rankings this week. The Chargers scored two goals in the first half and four in the second half. IVC plays again on Monday at No. 3 Saddleback at 3 p.m.

October 08, 2021Irvine Valley battles, but drops its fourth in a row in Orange Empire Conference play at the OC Great Park in Friday afternoon. Maddison Turcios made her first start in goal for IVC on the year and had five saves in the defeat.

October 01, 2021Irvine Valley falls, 8-0, to Santiago Canyon on Friday afternoon in an Orange Empire Conference match at the OC Great Park. SCC is the top-ranked team in the state. IVC plays again next Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Golden West.

September 21, 2021Irvine Valley falls to Taft, 4-0, at home on Tuesday at the OC Great Park to wrap up non-conference play. IVC has several days off from competition before opening Orange Empire Conference action next Tuesday at Cypress.

September 17, 2021Irvine Valley has a frustrating day on Friday, falling to Cerritos, 1-0, at the OC Great Park. The Lasers had numerous chances to core, including hitting the post twice in the contest. IVC hosts Taft next Tuesday afternoon.

September 10, 2021Irvine Valley ties LA Harbor, 1-1, on the road in a non-conference match Friday afternoon. The Lasers improved their record to 1-3-1 overall. IVC is home again on Tuesday, hosting Compton at the OC Great Park at 3 p.m.

August 31, 2021Irvine Valley picks up its first victory of the season Tuesday afternoon, winning at El Camino, 1-0. Yvonne Ventura scored in the second half and goalie Frida Molina had two saves as Irvine Valley improved its record to 1-1 overall.

Laser athletics is a month away from first official contests
July 27, 2021Three Irvine Valley sports teams are a month away from competing in their first contests of the 2021 fall season. IVC women's volleyball, women's soccer and men's soccer will each play games on the road on Aug. 27, 2021.

Fall 2021 Irvine Valley Women's Soccer Schedule Announced
June 09, 2021Irvine Valley is ready for the 2021 fall season and the Lasers will open with a scrimmage at Long Beach City on Tues., Aug. 24. The Lasers, led by Coach Joe Supe, will start their official season at Southwestern on Aug. 27.
