August 14, 2025Irvine Valley two-year starting catcher Aaron Serrato has committed to NCAA Division II Sul Ross State University in Texas. Serrato played in 67 games for the Lasers during the 2024 and 2025 seasons and hit five home runs. -
Alumni report - Shane Kary has solid season at DII Minot State
July 14, 2025Former Irvine Valley standout baseball player Shane Kary had a standout season this spring at NCAA Division II Minot State. He started 47 games, hit .288 on the year and ended with three home runs, 19 RBI and 71 total bases.

Standout first baseman Jackson Snitko is off to Chico State
June 23, 2025Jackson Snitko, a starter for two years at Irvine Valley at first base, has committed to NCAA Division II Chico State. He had two solid years at IVC, including batting .291 with 36 walks and a .437 on base percentage this spring.

Alumni Report: Kudell stands out again at Chaminade
June 18, 2025Former Irvine Valley star first baseman finished his career at NCAA Division II Chaminade in Hawaii. He played in all 50 games for the Silversowrds, batting .274 with 48 hits, 30 runs scored, 12 doubles and 30 RBI in 2025.

Infielder Chase Quezada commits to St. Edwards University
June 16, 2025A two-year starter at Irvine Valley, Chase Quezada has committed to NCAA Division II St. Edwards in Texas. The infielder out of Woodbridge High batted .263 as a freshman and played in 75 games over two years for the Lasers.

Alumni Report: Gavin Grutzmacher stars at Coppin State
June 12, 2025Former Irvine Valley baseball player Gavin Grutzmacher had a great year at NCAA Division I Coppin State. The junior infielder started 46 games, batted .317 with 27 RBI and had a slugging percentage of .482 for the Eagles.

June 10, 2025Former Irvine Valley baseball standout Nick Madole had a solid year at NCAA Division II Biola University. He played in 46 games and started 45 in the infield for the Eagles. He was a star shortstop for the Lasers in 2022 and 2023.

June 01, 2025Irvine Valley standout sophomore pitcher Tyler Eastham has committed to NCAA Division II Chico State. The right-hander threw 68.2 innings for the Lasers this spring and was named second team all-Orange Empire Conference.

May 31, 2025Former standout Irvine Valley baseball player Nolan Cusey was part of a special team at Johnson University this spring. The senior infielder batted .391 with 39 RBI and 48 runs as the Royals won a program record 36 games.

May 29, 2025Former Irvine Valley baseball player Noah Madole finished up his senior season at NCAA Division II Vanguard with a great season, starting all 50 games, batting .324 with a .695 sugging percentage, eight home runs and 36 RBI.

May 01, 2025Irvine Valley sophomore right-handed pitcher Tyler Eastham was named second team all-Orange Empire Conference. Eastham threw a team-high 68.2 innings and ended with an ERA of 4.46 for the Lasers.

April 25, 2025Irvine Valley drops its last game of the 2025 season with a tough Orange Empire Conference loss at Orange Coast Friday. The Lasers end the year with a record of 16-24 overall. OCC sweeps the three-game OEC series.

April 22, 2025Irvine Valley takes a 5-0 lead, but ends up losing, 6-5, in the bottom of the ninth in the first game of an Orange Empire Conference series against Orange Coast on the road Tuesday. IVC hosts the Pirates on Thursday at 2 p.m.

April 19, 2025Irvine Valley gives up four unearned runs and falls to Riverside, 7-0, on the road Saturday. Riverside takes the three-game OEC series. The Lasers end the regular season with a three-game set against Orange Coast next week.

April 15, 2025Irvine Valley defeats No. 11 Riverside, 4-3, in 11 innings in a conference game on the road Tuesday. Tyler Eastham makes a strong start on the mound and Brandon Abernathy knocks in the winning run for IVC in the 11th.

March 19, 2025Irvine Valley fell at LA Harbor, 6-5, in the bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday, but responds Wednesday at home with a 4-2 win over the Seahawks. AJ Roettger went seven strong innings and Jackson Chastain closed things out.

March 02, 2025Irvine Valley takes the first game of a doubleheader, 8-2, over LA Mission and then closes by holding on with a 7-6 victory in the second game. The Lasers move their record to 12-5 overall heading into the start of conference play.

February 27, 2025Irvine Valley bounces back from a loss at LA Valley on Tuesday with a solid win Thursday at home. The Lasers get a super solid effort on the mound from sophomore righty AJ Roettger in the victory. It is VC's 10th win of the year.

February 22, 2025Irvine Valley beats a tough San Diego Mesa team on Thursday, 13-8, and then is defeated by the Olympians, 9-3, on Saturday at home. IVC's record goes to 9-4 overall. The Lasers play next at LA Valley on Tuesday at 1 p.m.

February 18, 2025Irvine Valley scores four runs in the seventh inning and three more in the eighth to beat Grossmont, 13-8, Tuesday at home. It was a battle all day long between two of the squads with the best records in Southern California.
