Irvine Valley dropped its first match of the season on Tuesday in a 1-0 loss at Ventura.
IVC still holds a record of 5-1-0 overall.
Freshman goaiie Alexa Peterson made four saves in the match.
And the Lasers plan to get back on track on Friday at home with a 1 p.m. contest against East Los Angeles.
The team trained hard on Wednesday and Thursday and Khachik was there to take pictures for the Lasers.
