The top two California Community College men's tennis team went at it on Tuesday with Irvine Valley hosting Riverside.
The No. 1 Lasers defeated the second-ranked Tigers, 5-4, with battles in both singles and doubles all afternoon.
Irvine Valley took a 2-1 lead after doubles play.
Riverside battled back with two singles wins.
But IVC closed things out with victories by sophomore Bradley Yung on the sixth court, freshman Steven Anderson on court two and then freshman Philip Neuman at No. 1 singles.
