The Irvine Valley men's volleyball team is ready to start the 2026 season.
Irvine Valley's schedule starts Wednesday, Jan. 21 with a newly added scrimmage match against St. Xavier at 6 p.m. at home.
IVC then gets the official 2026 campaign underway Feb.28 at LA Pierce at 6 p.m.
Irvine Valley's first home contest will be against Antelope Valley on Friday, Jan. 30 at 6 p.m.
The Lasers also have non-conference matches against Santa Barbara, Moorpark, Fullerton, El Camino and Long Beach before starting conference action on Wednesday, Feb. 25 against Palomar at home at 6 p.m.
IVC will play in 14 conference matches, concluding with a match against Santiago Canyon at home on Friday, April 10 at 6 p.m.
Irvine Valley finished with a record of 15-8 overall and 9-5 in conference last season before falling to Orange Coast in the 3C2A State Quarterfinals at Orange Coast in five sets (18-16 in the fifth).
IVC had five players honored as all-region by the Southern California Men's Volleyball Conference.
Making first team all-Southern Region was freshman outside hitter Travis Kaufman.
IVC players on the second team included freshman libero Cage Gonzalez and freshman setter Bryce Nohava.
And earning honorable mention accolades were freshman middle blocker Joshua Damianopoulos and freshman outside hitter Spencer York.
