Irvine Valley men's volleyball standout Tucker McClain was recently named second team all-region for Southern California.
Two other IVC players were also picked as honorable mention selections.
They were freshman outside hitter Kaarin Shiari and freshman setter Isiah Sibbitt.
McClain, a 6-4 outside hitter from Woods Cross High in Utah, averaged 2.57 kills and 1.14 digs per set for the Lasers.
The 6-3 Shiari from local Woodbridge High averaged 2.14 kills and 1.33 digs per set.
And the 6-1 Sibbitt from Cumberland Valley High in Pennsylvania averaged 6.99 assists and 1.07 digs per set at IVC.
Irvine Valley finished with a record of 8-14 overall.
