Irvine Valley's Matt Mowers and Ahmad Alhammouri were each named first team all-Orange Empire Conference this past weekend.
Mowers, a sophomore post player, was picked to the first team for the second straight season.
The 6-6 Mowers, out of Trabuco Hills High, averaged 15.3 points, shot 58.1 percent from the field, and also contributed 6.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists for the Lasers.
He scored in double figures in 20 games on the season, including scoring at least 20 points in five contests.
Alhammouri, a 6-3 freshman guard/forward out of Western High, averaged 13.9 points and 3.1 rebounds a game.
He also shot 38.1 percent from three-point range on the year.
Alhammouri made the biggest shot of the season on Feb.10 at home, hitting a putback with 1 second left on the clock to help Irvine Valley knock off Riverside, 61-59.
It was a huge win on IVC's road to the playoffs.
The duo helped IVC finish with a record of 16-12 overall on the season and 6-8 in the conference.
Irvine Valley starts the 3C2A SoCal Regional Playoffs as the No. 19 seed and will play at No. 14 Moorpark on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
