Irvine Valley standout women's basketball player Alexis Price recently signed with NCAA Division II Cal State San Marcos.
Price, a sophomore wing player, was named first team all-Orange Empire Conference a selected second team all-state for the Lasers this past season.
The 6-0 Price, out of Downy High, helped Irvine Valley to a conference title, state championship tournament appearance and a record of 26-5 overall.
Irvine Valley finished the year being ranked No. 7 in the state in the final California Community College Women's Basketball Coaches Association State Top 25 poll of the year.
Price was selected first team all-conference for the second straight season at IVC after averaging 13.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.9 steals and 1.5 blocks per game in 2025-26.
She scored in double figures in 23 games and had more than 20 points in five contests with a season-high 31 points in a 64-61 win over Mt. San Jacinto on Dec. 6 on the road.
She averaged 9.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals per game in her freshman year in 2024-25. The Lasers ended with a record of 16-14 overall and reached the second round of the regional playoffs.
Price is headed to a Cal State San Marcos program that competes in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
