The Irvine Valley men's soccer team continued to play at a high level, starting Orange Empire Conference play with a 4-1 win over Orange Coast Tuesday at home.
It was Irvine Valley's third win in its last four matches.
Sophomore forward Isaac Nixon led the way with a hat trick. And freshman forward Jonahon Minney recorded on goa and one assist in the win.
IVC leveled its record to 4-4 overall. The Lasers play at district rival Saddleback on Friday at 3 p.m.
