Granzow had appeared in 14 matches heading into this week at UNC Asheville, making 11 starts in his first season as a Bulldog, scoring three goals on the back line for six points.
This is Granzow's first career all-conference honor in the Big South. He is a native of Hamburg, Germany.
Granzow had a fabulous two years at Irvine Valley.
He was named the defensive player of the year in the Orange Empire Conference in 2023, as well as first team all-conference.
Granzow was then selected to the all-state team, all-West Region and picked as a second team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches Association.
Granzow helped lead Irvine Valley to a 12-4-6 record overall and a 7-1-6 mark in conference in the fall of 2023.
The Lasers made the 3C2A playoffs and reached the So. Cal. Regional Final.
IVC fell in double overtime at Mt. SAC, 1-0, to end its season.
Granzow started all 19 games for the Lasers in the 2023 year and finished with five goals and one assist for 11 points.
He also helped IVC to a 1.51 goals against average on the year.
Granzow was also a first-team all-conference and all-state player in the 2022 season as IVC had a record of 11-7-5 record overall and made the playoffs.
