The Irvine Valley men's soccer team is now up to 9-4 overall with its record and 6-0 in the Orange Empire Conference and leading the league.
The Lasers face a tough opponent on Tuesday at home.
IVC takes on second-place Golden West in a conference game at 3 p.m. at home.
Irvine Valley stayed on a roll last week offensively, out-scoring its two OEC opponents, 10-2.
It defeated Santiago Canyon, 6-0, on Tuesday at home with this week's athlete of the week at the college and standout forward Jonathan Minney scoring two goals.
IVC then went on the road to defending OEC champ Fullerton and scored the first four goals of the game in an important, 4-2 victory.
Star freshman forward Andrew Roldan found the back of the net twice in the contest to lead the Lasers.
The team was back at it in a hard practice on Monday and Jesus Martinez was there to capture photos ahead of their conference match against the Rustlers.
